Affinity Angels Ltd is not a travel agency or retailer and their responsibility in terms of the fulfilment of the prize is completed in full once the prize is provided, or the trip is fully booked and paid for, and the travel documents have been supplied to the winner.
Holiday/Travel winner Terms and Conditions To the fullest extent possible in law Affinity Angels Ltd. accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss, damage or injury, howsoever caused, related in any way to the award and enjoyment of the prize.
Affinity Angels Ltd will endeavour to use a reputable booking agent when arrange winners holidays. Trips booked as ‘a package’ i.e. booked on the same day together though one agency, are ATOL bonded through the agent however trips where flight and hotel are booked separately may not be ATOL protected. It is the responsibility of the traveller to be aware of what bonding is provided. Upon accepting the trip as described by a Affinity Angels Ltd or a third party when making final booking arrangements the traveller accepts the trip in full including bonding conditions. Should Affinity Angels Ltd not be able to complete the booking following final confirmation as described the winner will be contacted.
Winners will be advised at the time of notification of winning of any deadlines by which their prize must be claimed, their trip must be booked and travel must be undertaken. It is the responsibility of the winner to provide the booking details in time for the trip to be taken. If the winner does not provide the details within the timeframe set out, the prize will be forfeit.
The winner will be asked to provide the relevant details necessary for the claiming of their prize. If not answered in full and correctly this could delay trip booking time or incur costs to the winner should the details need to be amended subsequent to being booked. In some cases such as name changes booking may not be amended and the full costs of cancellation and rebooking may be incurred.
If the traveller cannot travel after the trip is booked the trip is non transferable and forfeit. This applies but is not limited to traveller schedule clash or work commitments, traveller ill health, flight cancellation by the airline due to strike, political action or terrorism, mechanical failure or environmental condition.
If, due to war, strikes, industrial action short of a strike, import or export embargo, lock-outs, accidents, fire, blockade, flood, natural disasters or of other obstacles over which Affinity Angels Ltd. has no control, Affinity Angels is unable to fulfil the prize in whole or in part, then Affinity Angels shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage which may be incurred as a result of such failure.
Travellers are expected to be in good health and fit to travel and it is the traveller’s responsibility to inform Affinity Angels Ltd of any additional requirements including but not limited to wheelchair facilities.
All holiday and travel winners require travel insurance and must make their own arrangements to ensure they have adequate cover. Affinity Angels Ltd do not endorse any particular travel insurance company and any travel insurance company details provided are offered for use at the discretion of the traveller. It is the traveller’s responsibility to check with any travel insurer whether it offers appropriate cover for their individual needs by reading their terms and conditions before accepting cover. Should the traveller need to make a claim against the carrier or travel agent the traveller must pursue the claim directly as Affinity Angels Ltd will not pursue a claim on the traveller’s behalf. However Affinity Angels Ltd will provide the traveller with any necessary booking information to pursue a claim. In the event of a successful claim should the money need to be refunded to the original payment card this refund will be forwarded to the traveller with prior request and consent agreed in writing. This refund will not be forwarded until such times as it has cleared though Affinity Angels Ltd accounts.
Affinity Angels accepts no responsibility and is in no way liable for events beyond Affinity Angels Ltd control which prevent or impact the holiday being taken as booked.
Affinity Angels Ltd holiday quotes which require international flight are usually based on UK departure from a London Airport such as London Heathrow or London Gatwick. Should the winner request to fly from another UK airport this will be provided at the discretion of the company. Further to travel limitations prohibiting Christmas, New Year and Easter. Affinity Angels Ltd reserves the right to refuse booking a trip which more than reasonably exceeds budget.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Supply of winner/traveller details and the go ahead to claim a prize/book a trip will be deemed confirmation and acceptance of Affinity Angels Ltd terms and conditions.
